As someone with accounting and finance background, I have enjoyed the economic, production contract & licencing and the HSE aspect of FDP. The engineering part and other technical aspects where a bit challenging but worthwhile because it gave me more insight on oil and gas field, Integrated field development plan and the industry at large. I am more familiar now with many terminologies, processes and procedures as well as what happen on the field in general.
The company project valuation metrics were very useful to reinforce my prior knowledge of IRR and NPV. It was interesting to discover the limitations of these methods if the cashflows were non conventional. It was helpful to learn about company valuation using market data and determining the associated risk using beta values.
An interesting course, excellent facilitating and presentation skill. I also like the examples and case studies throughout the program.
